02. Is a child in space in more danger than an adult in space? (A K2S Question)

Right now, the answer is yes—mostly because children are still doing a lot of growing and gravity is necessary for bones, muscles and internal organs to develop correctly. Also there is more radiation in space that might affect children's rapidly growing systems. Once we have a way to produce a gravity field in space and have good radiation protection, then children will be in no more danger than adults.
