Average people will be unlikely to travel to space for a vacation for some time to come. For the foreseeable future, space tourism will be affordable only to people with quite a bit of money or to those who place a very high value on the experience of traveling into space. These pioneers will help to make space tourism more affordable and safer for average people in the years ahead.
