Gary Hudson

Gary Hudson has worked in the commercial space field for more than thirty-five years, co-founding companies such as Rotary Rocket, AirLaunch LLC, HMX and Transformational Space Corporation. His contributions include design and development of launch vehicle projects, such as the Liberty and the Phoenix family of launch vehicles, developing rocket engine propulsion systems, and authoring studies on propulsion systems. He served as a consultant to the US Air Force, is a member of the Board of Advisors of Space Frontier Foundation, is a former board member of Space Transportation Association, and has presented testimony before the US Congress. He has taught at US Naval Postgraduate School, the Institute for Space and Astronautical Sciences of Tokyo University, and Stanford University. He is a Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society, a senior member of the American Institute of Astronautics and Aeronautics, and recipient of the Laurel Award from Aviation Week & Space Technology.
