Foreword by Gemini XII and Apollo XI Astronaut Dr. Buzz Aldrin

Walk through life with your arms outspread and gather as many opportunities as you can. Sometimes you’ll succeed, and sometimes you won’t. The most important thing is to have the courage to try.

Many of your opportunities will be related to space. Space belongs to everyone. You don’t have to be an astronaut to share in the excitement of new space developments and discoveries. As space travel opens to include private citizens, the space effort will also need the expertise of architects, astronomers, astrophysicists, doctors, educators, engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists, transportation specialists and almost every trade and profession imaginable! Especially important will be the participation of pioneer space travelers such as you.

Even if you never leave Earth, as students you can play an important role in humankind’s space future. Your participation in this book is a great start!

Buzz Aldrin - Chairman of Starcraft Enterprises and the ShareSpace Foundation
