Men, Rockets and Space Rats gives an account of the development of rockets, rocket airplanes, and space-aviation medicine by an observer who personally visited dozens of installations and had first-hand interviews with scientists and engineers engaged in space oriented research. The book was revised in 1958 and again in 1961 (368 pages). In the latest edition information is included on US Mercury suborbital flights and Soviet orbital flights.
