Fredric H. Miller

Fredric H. Miller, was Director of Installation Support, Kennedy Space Center, he was responsible for the general operation and maintenance of the nation’s Spaceport. Born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1911, he claimed Indiana as his home state. He was graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1932 and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania in 1949. He was a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and took advanced management studies at the Harvard Business School. He entered the Army Air Corps in 1932, took his flight training at Randolph and Kelly Fields, Texas, and held various ranks and positions in the military service before retiring in 1966 as an Air Force major general. He began his post at KSC in 1967.
