Such stations could help solve the world's energy problems . The stations would be used to transmit solar cell power to Earth on microwave beams. The plan has had such a welcome that the American government has now voted $25,000,000 to study the idea further. Seen here is a Boeing Aerospace design - one of the major U.S. companies now involved in the race to produce the major new energy source."
