ARTIST CONCEPT: Space Station. This illustration depicts a cut away view of a planned Space Station. This concept consist of five levels, which would be used for various tasks, including living quarters (dinning, sleeping, personal hygiene). The initial Space Station Module would accommodate at many as twelve persons. Most of them will provide useful, on-orbit, activities, rather than merely operating the spacecraft. They would have an internal volume more than 30,000 cubic feet, 33 feet in diameter, and about 40 feet long.
