Part 2 of Infra Universe a science fiction story by American Interplanetary Society founder Nathaniel Schachner appears in Astounding Stories magazine.

Practical Mechanics magazine in the UK features a cover story with banner heading "By Rocket Through Space". The article inside by editor is called "Rockets the Power of the Future" is four pages long and includes a cutaway drawing of a design that looks much like a manned version of the proposed A-4 rocket. The caption reads, "Section of a rocket-flying ship, which has been successfully demonstrated in Germany." The article also covers the rocket car experiments undertaken in Germany by Opel and Valier.
