David Gump

David Gump has a long-term commitment to commercial exploration and development on the Moon. He co-founded LunaCorp, an entrepreneurial space company; Pasha Publications; and Transformational Space Corporation. Mr. Gump created several newsletters, such as Space Business News, Military Space and SDI Monitor. He has also authored Space Enterprise: Beyond NASA, which was published in 1990.As co-founder of LunaCorp, Mr. Gump arranged the filming of the first television commercial on the International Space Station. That advertisement, for Radio Shack, showed the Space Station crew receiving Father's Day gifts from their children. Mr. Gump also arranged for a later crew to throw the ceremonial First Pitch for the 2002 World Series. LunaCorp also set up the sponsorships that provided Lance Bass, of NSYNC, with the funding for his effort to visit the Space Station. He currently serves as CEO and president of Transformational Space Corporation.
