03. Can one wear contacts during launch and in space? (A K2S Question)
From The Space Library
Astronauts may wear contact lenses in space, but not many of them choose to do so. Minor eye irritations from small particles of dust and other things floating in the air are common, and these are easier to deal with when not wearing contacts. Also, if you lose a contact lens, it will float away and be extremely difficult to find.
