04. How many years would it take a typical spacecraft to reach Pluto? (A K2S Question)

We hope to launch the New Horizons spacecraft to Pluto in January 2006, and with luck we'll get to Pluto nine and one-half years later, in July 2015. The journey might take a couple of years longer, depending on the exact day that we launch.
