A rocket vehicle has many parts including the rocket engines, a steering mechanism, propellant tanks with feed lines and valves, a tank pressurization system for liquid propellants, stage separation rocket motors (retro rockets), a guidance system and avionics (electric power, computers, and communications to operate everything that must be operated), and of course the payload.
