Copies of the original paper with this title [1], prepared by Stuart Eves, Grant Thomson and the author, were distributed at the Symposium*. A more technical version has been published elsewhere [2]. This is a brief summary of the original paper, outlining the various steps leading to the identification of Cosmos 2344 as Arkon-1, supplemented with details which have come to notice since its publication.
