Bijal Thakore

Born in India, Bijal "Bee" Thakore has finished her master's in aerospace engineering in the UK and is currently pursuing a master's in space business management at the International Space University in France. She has a keen interest in effects of space flight on organisms, with a central focus on human space flight. Since an early age, she has followed various life and biology experiments carried out on Skylab, Biolab, MIR and the ISS. This passion about life sciences in space has drawn her to become our expert on animals, birds and insects in space. Ms. Thakore hopes that this book kindles a new enthusiasm in all its readers towards this happening era of space exploration. She looks forward to seeing you in the near future on your endeavors for space exploration, building long-term colonies and searching for life in our Universe!
