This dictionary is the fifth volume in the "Principles of Guided Missile Design" series (G. Merrill, ed), and contains definitions and explanations of hundreds of terms, with illustrative support. It is, in fact, a combination encyclopedia-dictionary, covering such subjects as aero and astrodynamics, astronomy, space physics, guidance, control, radar, propulsion, propellants, and vehicles. Of the increasing numbers of space age dictionaries that have appeared, it is by far the most comprehensive.
