The AGM of the BIS takes place at the Duke of York in London. In a summary published in the Bulletin of the BIS it is reported that membership to the society had swelled and that media attention had been substantial due to the January issue of JBIS in which the lunar spacecraft was unveiled. Arthur C. Clarke reports in his diary that "Hargreaves" was present.
