Following the observation of dayside aurora with the ISIS-II satellite a rocket campaign was conducted at Cape Parry on the Arctic coastline, the location shown by the pencil. The rocket was prepared inside a tent, which was pulled back when it was time to elevate the launcher for launch, into Arctic daytime in December.
