The American Interplanetary Society publishes the first issue of their “Bulletin” which becomes Astronautics in May 1932 it claims, “Among the principal aims of the American Interplanetary Society are the promotion of interest in interplanetary exploration and travel, and the mutual enlightenment of its members concerning the problems involved. To these purposes the monthly bulletins, of which this is the first, will be devoted.”
