Kimberly S. Bertele - MS, OTR

Kim Bertele has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist for nearly a decade. The goal of occupational therapy is to help individuals attain their highest level of occupational performance. For a child occupational performance includes work (or school), self care (eating, dressing, grooming, etc.) and play. People who might work with an occupational therapist include individuals with visual impairments, neurological disorders, sensory processing difficulties or other types of developmental disabilities. Kim earned her BA in psychology from Rollins College and an MS in occupational therapy from Florida International University. She worked as an OT for the Dade County Public School system in Miami for four years and for the Maui School District for one year before relocating to Colorado in 2001. Kim currently works for the St. Vrain Valley School District in Boulder County and has established her own private practice. Kim finds great joy in working with children.
