Sir Richard Branson

From airlines to health clubs, record companies to trains, pioneer and entrepreneur Richard Branson has built the Virgin Group from a student magazine to one of the world's best known and most respected brands. While doing this he has also somehow found time to gain a reputation as an adventurer, with several boating and hot air ballooning world records to his name. But Virgin territory does not only exist on Earth! In September 2004 Branson launched Virgin Galactic, the world's first ever commercial space tourism business, with the dream that one day in the not too distant future thousands of people from every continent in the world will experience the glory and wonder of space. Virgin Galactic will change the way we view space travel. The ability to become an astronaut will not just be within the grasp of the few, but of the many. To infinity and beyond!
