Spacewiki is a project of Apogee Books. It is our intention to provide an easy to use and familiar interface for people in the space community to document their work in an interactive format. Unlike most Wikis, Spacewiki allows the advertising of related products. When fully operational Spacewiki will include personal pages for members of the space community where they can keep people up to date as well as sell books, ebooks, academic papers, audio recordings and video recordings.

Unlike other Wikis, Spacewiki can be locked down so that no one can change the content of someone else's page. We feel this is important to the integrity of the material presented here.

It is our hope that experts in the field will use Spacewiki to share and interact with students and educators as well as peers in their respective fields.

Spacewiki includes a daily almanac of space news. This provides an ongoing window into current events, which will also be linked to related subjects.
