US Space and Rocket Center

The education department at the US Space and Rocket Center had a blast answering the questions about activities in space and on the Moon for this book. Located in Huntsville, Alabama, the USSRC is home to US SPACE CAMP where children ages 7 to 99 have the opportunity to live out their dreams of becoming an astronaut. Participants experience human space exploration of the past, present and future through specialized training. A day's events may include building and launching rockets, walking on the Moon, a Space Shuttle mission to the International Space Station, or even a trip to Mars. For more information about SPACE CAMP or the US Space and Rocket Center museum, look online at www.spacecamp.com or call our reservations department at 1-800-63-SPACE to request a program guide. We look forward to meeting you—our future astronauts, scientists and engineers—and beginning your training!
