Weltraum Magazine, was the journal of the Gesellschaft Für WeltraumForschung in Breslau. It was preceded by Astronomische Rundschau, which was a magazine that had been in print since 1899. In 1938 Hans Kaiser, founder of the GfW in Breslau began to use Astronomische Rundschau as the organ of the GfW. This lasted for four issues before the independent title Weltraum was introduced at the beginning of 1939.
