02. Are the effects greater than or the same as on Earth? (RW) We do not have any experience in space with alcohol ingestion, so we do not know for sure whether the effects are different than on Earth. (A K2S Question)

However, since the blood volume is decreased in space, the heart and other muscles can be weakened, the neurological system undergoes changes with regard to balance, and many other physiologic changes occur. Therefore, the effects of alcohol may be different. I would guess that the effects of alcohol in space may be similar to the effects on Earth, but greater in intensity.
