For space crews up until now, very little has been done to insure compatible teams. The key considerations are skills, seniority and political considerations— giving an equitable opportunity to other nations. For the longer missions being planned to the Moon or Mars, there is a lot of attention being given to figuring out how to pick not only the best people but the best team. For passengers, there will likely not be any effort to put together compatible groups. The considerations will most likely be economic—those who can pay and are medically fit to go will get to go.
