05. Could we go to Uranus? (A K2S Question)

Jump to: navigation, search

On January 24, 1986, a robotic spacecraft named Voyager 2 visited Uranus. It took almost ten years for the spacecraft to get there. Humans, however, would probably not want to visit Uranus. The atmosphere is made of methane, a toxic gas, and the temperature is around -328° F. Also, since we cannot see what is beneath the heavy clouds, it is unclear if there is even a surface on which to land.
