The amount depends on the size and weight of the spacecraft, as well as the mission to be performed, but the amount of propellant is likely to be many thousands of gallons. After launch into space, it is likely that electric propulsion will be used. This is very fuel-efficient and relatively small amounts will be used as compared to launch.
