06. Why would people want to live in space without being able to grow their own food? (A K2S Question)

Growing plants, especially in space, takes a lot of time, effort and resources. If there is another option for producing food, water and air, many astronauts may choose not to grow plants while living in space. This would give them more time to explore and conduct experiments.
