Most missions are to make discoveries in science or engineering. But a few have been planned to help teachers on Earth explain scientific principles—for example "toys-in-space" shows. And then astronauts have also thought up fun mission activities that take only a few minutes, like playing with spheres of free-floating water and juices, or doing weightless gymnastics themselves.
