Sure, or even better forget about tape and make them available on the computer. On a computer, they can be made accessible with access technology such as a screen reader or Braille display. There may also be situations where all space travelers will benefit from verbal instructions and voice activated technology so that one does not need to be in range of a computer screen in order to activate certain functions.
