I didn't actually walk in space, but while in the Soyuz capsule and then the ISS, I experienced all of those feelings and more. As any of the more than 400 people who have traveled to space can tell you, no amount of training can prepare you for the experience of weightlessness and the freedom of effortless movement. As I noted before, four years later, it remains something that is hard to describe to others. I can say that that you get a sense of total relaxation.
