Since you will need a spacesuit that is designed just for you, it could be rather expensive. Unless you are going into space with NASA, you may have to pay for your own suit. NASA furnishes suits for the astronauts. The spacesuit that the astronauts wear during launch and also during re-entry and landing is the ACES. Each ACES costs about $150,000, and that includes everything from the helmet to the boots. The company that makes the EMU suit (ILC Dover) says that it is difficult to express the cost of the suit. It has been reported in the news media that the spacesuit costs two million dollars. This does not mean that each time the suit is used it costs two million dollars. If you would never use the parts for another astronaut or another mission, then you would have a one-time use and the cost could probably be as high as the news media says it is.
