12. Can I come home when I want to? (A K2S Question)

No, you won't be able to return home whenever you want to. Returning to Earth is very expensive and will only happen when it is scheduled to happen. On trips to Mars, it is impossible to turn around. You have to go all the way to Mars, swing around the planet and then you can head back to Earth. To get home from the Moon will take several days. Even returning home from the International Space Station has to be scheduled.
