13. If there was some sort of systems failure, or damage caused to a spacesuit, what is the backup plan? (A K2S Question)

The suits are maintained and tested before use to make sure that they are in good condition. In the unlikely event that there was a problem with the suit, then the astronaut would return to the safety of the vehicle.
