The temperature would have to be regulated inside the module to make sure it is neither too hot nor too cold. Around the Earth and Moon, temperatures could reach 250° F where the Sun shines to - 250° F when there is no sunlight. Heat is generated inside the spacecraft by both the sunlight outside and by all the equipment operating inside. This heat must be removed by using a mechanically-pumped fluid to perform heat transfer. An insulation blanket around each module will protect it against the extreme temperature changes in space.
