Absolutely! Holidays are very important for celebrating special occasions that a particular group wants to remember. There are religious holidays, national holidays, personal holidays—like birthdays—and so on. There will be special holidays for people in space as well. And decorations help make all holidays extra special so there will definitely be decorations. We may also celebrate holidays that were important to us when we lived on Earth. Some will take on new meaning. For instance, Thanksgiving in the United States celebrates the first settlers from Europe that made their home in America. Thanksgiving on Mars will probably be about the first settlers to reach Mars!
