Missions are planned well in advance with enough supplies to last the crew for the planned duration and for an additional stay, with additional plans to restock supplies at a specified time. Supplies are inventoried and monitored and the ground advised when the supplies are depleting. There are regularly scheduled re-supply missions to bring needed supplies, such as fuel, food and water prior to depletion of their current resources
