25. Since the Sun is a star and stars die, would we die since we need the Sun to live? (A K2S Question)

All life comes from the Sun, so without it, life as we know it would rapidly come to an end. But the good news is that the Sun is a very stable, small star that has existed for a long time and allowed life to gain a foothold on Earth. The Sun will continue supporting life on Earth for many more billions of years before it begins to enter old age. Humankind will have plenty of time to figure out ways of journeying out to visit the distant stars to improve our chances for survival.
