We have good experience building space stations that are safe and that last for many years in space. We learn about living in space every time we go there. We are inventing better technology and smarter computers which will allow us to build habitats on the Moon and Mars for larger numbers of people. As the habitats get bigger they will have more and more plants. The plants will clean the oxygen and will provide more oxygen as well as food.
