32. Why isn't there air in space? (A K2S Question)

An atmosphere is a consequence of activities that can take place on a large body, like a planet, through volcanism and venting of gases trapped within rocks. Life activity on Earth generates a closed-loop, sustaining, and breathable atmosphere to allow life to prosper on our home world. Space is a vacuum which means it is the absence of air or any trace molecules that are normally found with our home planet's atmosphere. So there is no air in space—it is a better vacuum than humans can create on Earth.
