33. Does the lack of gravity affect sleeping patterns? (A K2S Question)

It may affect your sleep patterns a bit, especially if you are feeling the effects of space motion sickness, are very excited, or have a lot of work to do. On the other hand, floating in your sleeping bag means that there are no lumps or hard surfaces to bother you when you sleep. But other things might affect your sleep patterns too, such as the noise in the cabin and the short day and night as you circle the Earth—the day is only 45 minutes long on the Space Shuttle, as is the night.
