34. When someone is stuck in space, why don't we just send someone else out to save them? (A K2S Question)

In the unlikely event that that occurs, that is one of the contingency plans. The plan is to have vehicles on the ground ready to launch expediently should the need arise. However, currently the ISS has a Soyuz vehicle available to use in the event of an emergency.
