34. Would craters be an advantage or disadvantage for those living or traveling on the Moon? (A K2S Question)
From The Space Library
The rim of the larger craters would appear similar to a range of mountains as seen from the surface. Traveling through them will be similar to traveling over a small mountain range on Earth. Some of the smaller ones (one mile or less in diameter) might someday be turned into domed habitats. The meteor crater in Arizona is a good example of how a smaller lunar crater would appear to astronauts on the Moon.
