The rim of the larger craters would appear similar to a range of mountains as seen from the surface. Traveling through them will be similar to traveling over a small mountain range on Earth. Some of the smaller ones (one mile or less in diameter) might someday be turned into domed habitats. The meteor crater in Arizona is a good example of how a smaller lunar crater would appear to astronauts on the Moon.
