NASA's newest Space Shuttle orbiter, Atlantis, arrived about 5:00 p.m. April 14 at KSC after a two-day flight from California, the Marshall Star reported. KSC workers removed the Atlantis from the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) and towed it to the processing hangar, where others would reconfigure it for its maiden flight, mission 51-J, scheduled for September. The SCA made a brief stop at Ellington Air Force Base, Texas, during the journey to KSC. (Marshall Star, Apr 17/85, 2)
