The 19 U.S. students whose scientific experiments had been selected for the Skylab missions would help analyze and compile the data and results from earth orbit, NASA announced. Henry B. Floyd, Manager of the Skylab Student Project at Marshall Space Flight Center, had said NASA would leave everything possible to the individual student. "We are not telling the student what to do." Each student experiment was being handled individually through principal investigators and science advisers who were expected to report results to NASA and the U.S. The students 'would be invited to report and exchange information at a symposium to be set up by NASA.
