Charlie Eliot Smith, Ph.D., author and organizational leadership consultant, has been working with executives and their employees in corporations, associations and government agencies throughout the United States, Canada and Europe for the past 35 years His work aims to help leaders and groups discover how they personally hold themselves back as a platform for unparalleled success.

Dr. Smith has a Bachelor's degree in Social Relations from Harvard College, a Master's from the Harvard Business School, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University. He also has a certificate in Gestalt Methods from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. He was a Visiting Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at Sir George Williams University in Montreal and taught at the McGill University Centre for Management Education. He was on the Boards of the National Peace Academy Foundation and The Foundation for Mid East Communication. He is currently on the advisory board of Mighty Mojo Studios. His book, The Merlin Factor: Keys to the Corporate Kingdom, is jointly published in Great Britain and in the U.S. He has also written numbers of other articles on personal and organization development, including "The Merlin Factor: Creating Ambassadors from the Future", "Explainers Anonymous", "Mentoring Leaders with Vision", "Board Dialogue as a Path to Competitive Advantage" and "Who Stole My Synergy?"
