The Daily Mirror newspaper reports "She's Flying to the Moon One Day". The article reports about the Manchester Interplanetary Society and its member Miss M.H. Holmes who states that "We shall get to the moon when we have built the rockets." It goes on to say the society now has 50 members including a Mr M.E. Turner and the society will overcome regulations (such as the 1875 Explosives act).
