Dr J.W. Campbell of the University of Alberta lectures the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and implies that spaceflight may be an engineering impossibility. He shows films of V2 launches and explains the pitfalls of reaching 7 mps. The lecture is attended by future rocket pioneer Kurt Stehling.
