USAF Athena missile launched from Green River, Utah, toward WSMR target; veered off course and apparently landed 290 km (180 mi) southeast of Chihuahua City, Mexico. Objective of test was to evaluate atmospheric reentry capabilities. (W Post, 7/11/70, A5)
